OUR LEADERSHIP

John Maloney, our Founder and President, has a long track record of success leading large organizations through significant change. His background includes a twenty-four-year career with the U.S. Coast Guard where he served as Commanding Officer of two Coast Guard Cutters, and as Human Resource Director for over 1000 Coast Guard Personnel in the state of Alaska.

After retiring from the Coast Guard, John served as the Administrative Officer for the FBI’s Washington D.C. Field Office, the FBI’s second largest office, where he led administrative and support functions for criminal, counter terrorism, and counter intelligence operations.

John has held a diverse array of leadership and operational positions in his over 40-year professional career, including serving as Office Administrator for a top tier global law firm and as the Director of Organizational Development for a leading global immigration law firm. These experiences have taught John to understand the importance of strong leadership that seeks to allow all employees to do what they do best every day.

While working on his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, John discovered the Clifton StrengthsFinder approach to personal and professional development. Over the last five years, John has been coaching and leading individuals and organizations to develop their strengths to achieve greater performance and job satisfaction.

John holds an MA in Organizational Leadership (emphasis in Organizational Development) and a BS in Computer Information Systems. He is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and his top five Strengths on the StrengthsFinder assessment are: Communication, Significance, Woo, Restorative, & Developer.
